I travelled for work and stayed two nights at the Marriott. As it is near the riverwalk, you should expect fees that you may not see at other Marriott hotels. This is not uncommon for popular destinations, and not outrageous, just be aware if you have not been in this area before.
I had been up since about 4 am and was checking in after 6 pm, so I was beyond exhausted, I will say the hotel had several people waiting to check people in and was one of my best check in experiences.
Got a great room and it was clean and comfy. Lots of business travelers, but some tourists in the hotel, but I ended up being near more business people and it was quiet at night.
The front had several recommendations for dinner.
The second night, a group of us decided to eat at the hotel, their main restaurant was not open, however, you could order full menu in the bar. Only downside, not really tables available, more conducive for drinks only, not real food.
The exercise room was nice, several of us working out in the morning and plenty of treadmills for use.
