My husband and I actually live in San Antonio but between two kids and deployments we haven't had a night away in years so I was excited for our stay at this "fabulous" hotel. We were checked in by a very rude woman who made numerous snarky comments to us. The room is very small, the pictures on the website make it look so glamorous...it is not. The bed is not very comfy, I really don't think our bed was a pillow top as advertised. It did not have a refrigerator, it had a mini bar and it was locked. They don't even give you complimentary water, there are two bottles in the room and it cost $6 each. We have spent far less and gotten so much more in a hotel/room other places. I was so disappointed in the whole experience, it was such a shame. To be fair, I do want to say that it is wonderfully located.

The Omni is known for its service and this doesn't disappointment. From the moment we met the valet until we checked out, the staff was amazing. The location can't be beat. The rooms are a little on the small side but not tiny. I would definitely recommend the breakfast buffet. It was amazing. A great stay.

Hotel is in the middle of the river walk. The room was tired and dated. The chair was beat and scuffed. Outside furniture should have been in a Motel 6. The pool is very small with limited areas that actually get sun. I've stayed at the Hilton on the river walk, it is quieter, and very nicely updated. I would recommend Hilton over this hotel.

We loved the location of this historic hotel. The rooms were adequate in size. The amenities include: refrigerator, 2 robes, free newspaper, coffeemaker and free WIFI if you join their free Omni select group membership. The internet is a bit slow but at least it is complimentary. The front desk staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The hotel is right on the Riverwalk. Our room was not overlooking the Riverwalk and it was quiet. The only minor compliant was that our door had glass panes. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The cots are free upon request.

Our stay at Omni La Mansion Del Rio was incredible. From the moment we arrived the staff provided us with the best service possible and we enyoyed every minute ot our 5 night stay. Upon checking in we asked for and were given a room upgrade to a room overlooking the river and a private balcony that was AWESOME.

The hotel is in the hear of the river walk with many places to eat and visit just a short walk away,. We only noticed noise from bars on the riverwalk on one occasion and it was not really a bother.

The Valet service was wonderful and we never waited more than 5 minutes for our car to be brought down and ready to go. The breakfast in the Las Canaries dining area was very good.

This is an older hotel with a great historic feel to it and we really enjoyed the architecture and overall ambiannce of the La Mansion. We will be back as soon as possible.

Room Tip: The river walk rooms are very nice.
