If you are looking for an experience you have to stay here. I have had the opportunity to stay in what some would say are posh hotels, trust me they don't hold a candle to Hyatt Hill Country. From the guy at the front gate to the house keepers, to the guy cleaning the grounds Hyatt has really tought then what customer service is all about. This place knows that traveling with family can be stressful if the kids get board, trust me no way that is going to happen here. Activities or just exploring the grounds will keep even the pickiest kiddo entertained and happy.

I have often stayed at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort during the past 15 or 20 years. it was my favorite weekend getaway. An easy drive from Houston, the hotel offers top notch spa, golf and recreational amenities, all within a tranquil environment surrounded by native flora and fauna; however, the hotel has increasingly turned into a conference oriented, rather than a guest oriented facility. It is overcrowded, noisy and personal service has become all but non-existent. The resort was always relatively expensive but worth it. Regrettably, this is no longer true, and I am truly disappointed by my favorite Texas retreat being turned into Disneyland.

This resort is GORGEOUS!! While it is not far off of the main roads, you feel as though you are tucked far away in the hill country. The grounds are beautiful, all the pool areas are amazing, and the amenities are fabulous. We love using the bites, at the playground, every inch of the lazy river, and the movie night for kids. I will say though that the food was less than what I expected especially compared to the quality of everything else. The nachos poolside were horrible, dinner service at the long bar was very substandard as well. Overall though the place is great

Five families got together at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio for a wonderful reunion. There were many young children under the age of 10 and they had lots of fun with the resort offerings. The rooms were spacious and clean, the service was friendly and the pool attractions were great. The kids especially liked the evening smores and outdoor movies. Sea World was just around the corner and we spent a day there as well. HIghly recommend this hotel property for families.

I have to say for the cost and services provided this was an excellent choice. Second time I have stayed at this location and loved it. I would highly recommend this venue for business or pleasure. My grandkids had a wonderful time while I worked.
