We booked this on Priceline and when we saw these reviews, we were nervous we had made a mistake. Don't know where the other reviewers stayed but floor 5 was fine. It looked clean to us and our two rooms we clean and the bathroom nice. Breakfast was ok but agree another waffle maker would be good as long wait on the weekend. The one big complaint was the pool. We specifically wanted a pool for our 3 day stay. When we went to use the pool, the door was locked. We checked at reception and were told the pool is closed until equipment can be installed for disabled access. I am in favor of disabled access but why would the pool have to be closed for everyone until that happens? And why were we not told or were there no signs? We had called after booking so we feel that we should have been given an option to cancel as we really wanted a pool. They should not be taking bookings via Priceline when we specify a pool if the pool is close indefinitely
When we arrived at the hotel the new sign, which was a banner, was falling off the building. The lobby appeared clean. The halls had trash/food items that were not cleaned up in the 4 days we were at the hotel. There was a piece of chewed gum on the floor in the hall. It was never picked up. The floors were not vacuumed our entire stay. The sheets were not clean. I pulled back the worn comforter to find hair in my bed. The maid service, if you could call it that, was awful. They didn't replace the wash cloths or towels that were placed on the floor. Breakfast is a joke...don't plan on eating here if you stay here. Juice is "out of service". Yogurt was available 2/4 days. 2 cereals , White & wheat bread, and make your own waffles were avail. No fruit, or protein items... This is not a "hot" breakfast. Wouldn't stay here for free if it was offered to me!
