I went to San Antonio for a work conference in early October. The weather was hot and humid the first day, but cooled down the next two days, and dropped in humidity considerably.
The hotel (Grand Hyatt San Antonio) was right next to the convention center, which made sessions very easy to get to, and was a nice hotel. The room doors were quite solid...I couldn't hear anyone in the hallways while I was there.
The Riverwalk had lots of great restaurants! Out of the five meals I had there, we only got one so-so restaurant. County Line had great barbeque, and great atmosphere!
I went to the Alamo as well, and it was very interesting to see the site, as well as learn the history.
All in all, great trip!More
