First the breakfast buffet - it was excellent and complete will very good service by Ivan. Very nice person, we enjoyed visiting and relaxing at the start of our day. We went back to the bar for happy hour - very good food and drinks. Not a lot of interaction with our servers but the location and décor were very nice.

We strolled past last night and decided to stop for a drink on their beautiful patio. John was our server and was very outgoing and suggested some tapas. As we had already eaten we came back tonight for dinner. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. Close to the rest of the riverwalk but more laid back and not touristy. Love the place- will return for sure. Everyone was so friendly. We asked for John and he gave great advice as to what to order but I doubt they serve anything that's less than excellent.

Las Ramblas is a lovely restaurant on the River Walk, but away from the tourist crowds and huge icky restaurants. You won't find a margarita as big as a wading pool here. The food was delicious and once our servers got themselves sorted out-- they were very attentive. I recommend it as an alternative to the River Walk madness.

Las Ramblas is located on a quieter, very pretty section of the Riverwalk and the atmosphere is fantastic. After the host sat us, we waited for 15 minutes and no one came over. As we waited we looked around at other people waiting a long time for food. We asked the host and she got our waitress, Samantha who apologized but then continued to provide below average service. The food was great, but at that price point I expect great food, great atmosphere and great service.

Las Ramblas was our most memorable dining experience in San Antonio over the course of four nights. We tried a variety of tapas. The food was consistently excellent, and the service was attentive, timely, and courteous. I'm glad we didn't pay attention to the negative reviews about slow service, since that was not our experience (assuming you are content with eating at a leisurely pace while enjoying the river walk ambiance). Las Ramblas is in a quiet section of the (otherwise bustling) Riverwalk, which is a major plus. Overall, I consider Las Ramblas to be one of the best hotel restaurants I ever ate at! We will definitely return.
