The food is good, not great, The locale right on the riverwalk was great. There are a few outside tables which are nice. You can watch people and boats at your leisure while you eat. If you eat inside this huge restaurant then you have the visual and audio overload.

A little pricey but tons of fun. The colors, the noises, and all the sights makes it a great place for the kids to visit.
The lines can be long here during dinner time because, it is in the heart of the Riverwalk of San Antonio but, don't let it stop you from going in even if only for a fountain drink at their cute jungle theme bar. You can't help but laugh at their bar stools.
If you are planning to eat there, you will find the food is good, too. I would recommend dessert! The volcano makes a grand entrance and the kids will completely enjoy it.
The staff is helpful but, busy so, do be prepared.
They even offer souvenirs and will take a group photo of everyone at your table. You are not required to purchase the photo but, if you are curious they will allow you to view it at their gift shop.

I have already visited Rainforest at Disney, so we knew what we were talking about. Great dinner, nice environment, including periodic storms, and everything you can expect. Had only one problem at arrival: we were assigned a very unconfortable table. When we claimed because we could not take our seats, waiters were reluctant to change us, even there was place enough. We had to ask for a manager and say we were leaving in order to get a better table where we could seat comfortable.

Took my kids here because one of them received a free meal certificate from school as an award for a job well done. The food is over priced and mediocre. The service was very good but everything else was not great at all. The atmosphere is just ok. The "rainforest" is mediocre too. The animals are funny looking...cheap looking. The kid's menu is nothing special either. The only reson I'd go there again is to treat my kids if they really want to go there, but I would eat somewhere else first....they really need to change the menu and offer quality tasty food ....
