We enjoyed a very relaxing brunch in the Colonial Restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was very good. We started with a complimentary glass of champagne and then worked on the cold and hot buffet. There was a good selection of cold salads and meats etc and the hot buffet was equally good (I had poached salmon that tasted very nice). We finished by sharing a freshly cooked waffle with cream and syrup. Very indulgent and very nice!
Best of all was the very charming music played by the resident Spanish classical guitarist Fernando SantaFe. I could have sat there for the whole afternoon listening to him. It's a pity that more people weren't applauding after every number as he is very good. I spent a few moments chatting to him and asked if I could video him. He very graciously said yes and played one of his favourite pieces. What a gentleman! It contributed to a really pleasant experience. Thanks to everyone in the Colonial restaurant especially Fernando!
