So much to take in when you go to this place. There is a lot of activity, and they've done a great job making you feel like you're in a Mexican courtyard. The food is fantastic as well, and they make their own tortillas right there in the restaurant! If you have kids and they're looking for something that will "wow" them, order something that comes topped with cheese, and the waiter will light it on fire when he brings it out. Excellent, reasonably priced, and in a great location- highly recommend!

we love taking friends and family to this location of i-10 and callaghan near the medical center. it is a huge building and the inside is made to look a plaza in mexico complete with a waterfountain and a night sky full of stars on the ceiling. my kids loved it! the food is really good and unique. they have salsa but also serve this neon lime green avacado sauce with the chips that is very good too. you can see them making the tortillas fresh and they are very good. we love the unique and slightly bitter taste of the spinach parmesan mixture they use in the spinach nachos and the spinach enchiladas with cream sauce with are my favorite! my kids love that there are virgin margaritas and daiquiris on the kids drink menu! that is a special treat for them and a highlight of our trip to the restaurant! my daughter loves the kids cheese quesadilla too. a great place for the whole family. very vegetarian friendly.

It was good food and nice atmosphere. The theme was something I think San Antonio is known for... Alamo. Although it isn't a replica of the Alamo there is an atmosphere of being outside with stars in the celing and a mechanical trapper playing the violin. Service was ok at best. They seemed to be going through the motions, slightly bothered by asking for anything that takes them out of the routine they created for themselves (drink order, chips, food order, food given, refill, present check...see ya). So if ya mix up that routine, you may get eye rolling. As for the 4 stars, the food and restaurant make up for it...

It is refreshing to watch people that really like their job! The man in the tortilla making area was genuine and happy. He was welcoming of the children watching him. He was enjoying his job even when no one was looking. The tortillas he made were warm and chewy. The Portabella mushroom fajitas were unreal! Our server was very friendly and the service was quick. We came here on a recommendation from a Texas local! The locals always know the best places to eat! Menu had a bit of everything . Prices reasonable. Good food.
