County Line Barbecue serves Texas-style brisket, and it does so in a great setting right on the Riverwalk. The atmosphere is boisterous yet comfortable, and it was a fun place to dine with friends. The biggest drawback is that the prices don't match the quality of the food. The homemade bread is quite good, but I'm not sure it's worth the extra you have to pay for it to come to your table. The margaritas might be excellent as well, but I certainly wasn't going to pay $10 for one. Also, as a non-Texas, I expected my tea to be sweet and my barbecue sauce to not be. The opposite occurs at County Line, but that's a matter of personal preference and not a reflection of the restaurant. Overall, it was a decent experience. There are better barbecue places in San Antonio, and more bang-for-your-buck restaurants along the Riverwalk, but County Line is a solid (if not exceptional) choice for a night's dining.
