“Good food - difficult atmosphere”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2012

We went here with a bunch of friends from San Antonio. The food was pretty good, but not excellent. The service was good but not great. The biggest problem is that the restaurant needed a designer that understood eating out. High ceilings, concrete floor and plaster walls made the sound almost unbearable. Conversation was done at a screaming level. I imagine that the restaurant wanted a "hip" vibe, but the only thing vibrating was my brain. In addition to the above they had a live band playing what seemed to be music, but given the acoustics it was hard to tell. Bring your smartphone so you can text your table mates.

“Rosario's”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2012

Always a fun place to go, in the King William district a nice place to get away from the river walk traffic. This place is always busy for a good reason the food is good. Go on a weekend night and they usually have live music (latin, jazz ensambles), the only thing is I wish they would serve HOT sauce/salsa not that tour-is-tio stuff. Guess I'll bring my own lol!

“Great food”

This was recommended as a place the locals went for Mexican food. The food and service were wonderful - try the chocolate Flan for desert.

“Retro Tex-Mex”

Expansive menu that included a wide variety of dishes. Tried the shrimp nachos which were good. But the fish tacos were a hit with our party! Recommended for large parties.
