In an era of junk food, Subway stands apart from most fast food restaurants. With an assortment of flavorful and healthy breads, meats, cheeses and vegetables, their sandwiches can be very healthy as well as flavorful. I generally go for whole wheat bread, top the meat and cheese with extra veggies, and avoid the chips and drink. For $5 for a footlong sandwich and a cup of water with lemon juice, it's a wonderful, affordable meal. My favorite.
