“Horrible Customer Service!!!”

We have eaten at Sarita's several times and never had a problem. We ate there tonight and had the worst dining experience we've ever experienced at any restaurant. The waitress forgot to put our order in and somehow didn't realize it. After 45 minutes she came and asked us if we'd like anything else, and we mentioned that we'd like our food, and she tried to play it off. Which is fine, we all make mistakes. So after an hour had gone by, we saw the owner walk by and told him that we had been waiting for an hour for our food. He stopped, looked at us, and continued on his way without saying anything. Then a minute later we hear him yelling at our waitress. So they bring out another beer and tell us to drink it and that our food will be out soon (yes it was a command, not a request). The food comes out, 15 minutes later, and we asked for boxes right away. They bring us the check, everything full price. So we go to the counter to pay and the owner of the restaurant rings up our check without saying a word and just stares at us. Finally I say "It took over an hour for us to get our food", and he says "well the waitress said that you wanted time to drink before your food came out". I said, well, your waitress lied, we ordered 5 minutes after we sat down and did not ask for time to drink, did not make any special requests. He argued with us (yes he argued with us, no one EVER apologized) and did not offer any apologies or comped meals. At this point, we told him we were never coming back, and would tell everyone we knew never to come back. It may have been a one time occurrence, but if the owner of the restaurant can be that rude, unprofessional and unaccommodating, it is not a place that I want to spend my money, or my time. The food is nothing special.
