Daily lunch and dinner specials feature local ingredients whenever possible. The Kobe beef burger can be paired with hand cut French fries, crispy thin onion rings, homemade lemon-pepper potato chip or potato salad. There is an outdoor patio under a canopy of oak trees that's shady and extremely popular with locals and visitors to San Antonio. The brunch offered on Sundays features a menu of classic egg dishes, fire-roasted prime rib, Texas pot roast, jumbo lump crab cake, and top entree salads, chicken and seafood dishes. Cappy's has an ever-changing, dynamic and well-priced wine list, with great choices by the glass or bottle. Full bar.

You wont be disappointed, good service and great food. Outside the downtown riverwalk area, so a more local feel

Highly recommend as a meeting choice for business luncheon. Serving staff is efficient, professional, and non-intrusive. The menu selection is not extensive, but all choices are excellently prepared. Plan on spending $35-$50 per person. Reservations recommended, but seating available outdoors. Parking limited, thus, may only be available on the side street.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. The wait staff are great, and the food is always on time and consistant. I love the steak and tortilla soup. I bring my associates for lunch, and we are in and out. If you're a local, you already know, but if you are new to the area, this is a safe haven. Can't say enough about consistant steaks cooked to perfection, and attentive staff.

The wife and I spent Valentine's evening at Cappy's. We were about 30 minutes late being seated due to it being Valentine's day but it was worth it. Our waiter was very good(all of them are). I've been eating at Cappy's since the 90's and I've never had a bad experience.

Also, we are dog lovers and you can bring you pet to have dinner with you out on the patio. Try the gumbo, my wife is from New Orleans and it passes her test which is rare!
