We stopped here to have a drink and an appetizer. I had a Strawberry Caipirinha, some fancy, expensive drink that was just okay. The appetizer, on the other hand, was outstanding. In keeping with our days theme, we tried the Chile Fried Gulf Oysters. It was served on a yucca chip with serrano honey aoli and pineapple pico de gallo. I can not stop thinking about it. It's one of those dishes you can never hope to duplicate at home, much as I'd like to. We actually were afraid to eat dinner after we had this amazing dish because we didn't want to be disappointed if nothing else measured up! (Crazy, I know!) I am definitely looking forward to eating here again on my next trip to San Antonio.
