Very nice atmosphere and great service. Food was great. Had to take a cinnamon roll to go. Looked to good to leave in display case. Turned out to be a great afternoon snack. Also take the time to walk around the neighborhood after breakfast. Great examples of old architecture.

This is a truly beautiful café which offers outdoors as well as indoors seating. The signature piece are the champagne chicken enchiladas and they are very tasty indeed for a very low price. We also had a deli sanwich, which was delicious as well. Apart from the food this place is worth the visit for the house alone. What we did – and I would recommend that – is take the blue line bus and walk to the Guenther house for lunch (just a few minutes' walk) and then explore all the beautiful 19th century mansions along King William St.

This is half of the club sandwich. Terrific menu. Everything is fresh and appealing. Great ambiance on the patio. Attentive service. Wonderful find.

My family visits SA once per year and The Guenther House is always on our list of places to eat. Food is always excellent (champagne chicken enchiladas & breakfast tacos are high on our list). Patio seating is pretty cool (literally and figuratively) except for the occasional bird attacking leftovers when guests leave their tables. Easy place to take family members of all ages. You won't be disappointed.

Local to San Antonio and this is the first time I've been here. A lot of history to the grounds and building. Get there early as there was a bit of a wait. Great waffle and biscuits are to die for!
