I love Mexican food, so this restaurant was a must stop for me when we visited San Antonio. It's been around since 1941 and is one of 3 restaurants in the building. Did not check out the other 2. Pico was casual, booths and tables. In the front room you could see into the kitchen and the back room had a big screen TV. They had festive Mexican decor, a Mariachi band, and waitresses in Mexican dress. The restaurant had an eclectic mix of patrons...great place for a family or couple. Not romantic, but fun. Both my husband and I had traditional combo platters of Mexican food: taco, enchilada, tamale, beans and rice. The food was served piping hot and was delicious. Although we we're stuffed, the waitress convinced us we would love the sopapilla for dessert. It was yummy and prices good.
