This pace is a couple of paces off the beaten track but is worth the extra steps. Imaginative and thoughtfully chosen menu. Fresh ingredients prepared with obvious skill, care and attention. Service attentative and informative without going over the top. Try it out!!!

“Fantastic!”
Reviewed June 30, 2014 via mobile

The. Chef and her family run a great place to dine with your loved one or w friends. Don't be in a rush! Enjoy all the courses. You must. I've had everything except the fish and was blown away by the lamb last night. My wife always has fish and she loves loves loves it.
Get there. Remember, parking is right behind the Restuarant in the alley. They have some spots blocked. Move the cone and park and enjoy!!

“Beyond Excellent!”
Reviewed June 29, 2014

I was in town for a convention and asked two friends who live in San Antonio to join me for Sunday brunch. We were running late and we actually did not arrive until 2:10pm, 10 minutes after the brunch ended. Sylvie, one of the owners assured us that we were welcome to enjoy our brunch. It was absolutely fabulous! We were the only ones in the restaurant and we felt as if the staff was hosting a private party for us! We were never rushed--we started with mimosas and cheese assortment. Two of us had omelets and one friend had the salmon tartare. Every dish was prepared beautifully. The restaurant is super clean with very chic, contemporary furnishings. My friends who were local loved it and cannot wait to return for dinner. For dessert? We shared the french toast with salted caramel. We finished a bottle of champagne and left so impressed with the quality of the food and the outstanding customer service. We were not overstuffed but completely satiated and it was so, so fresh! Do not miss this superb dining experience. PS. It is not on the Riverwalk and there was plenty of onstreet parking on a Sunday.

“Ou la la....in downtown San Antonio”

I enjoyed a lovely champagne brunch @ Saveurs 209 last Sunday and can't recommend it highly enough. Wonderful egg (omelet or scrambled) dishes with yummy add ins like: sundried tomatoes, goat cheese, mushrooms, lobster, salmon....and served with perfect small square sauteed potatoes; really wonderful!
Pain chocolat, waffles, fruit and other sides to accompany. Coffees, juices, champagne and the gorgeous chic decor are all icing on the cake.
No problem finding a place to park on Broadway on Sunday:)
I understand that soon a french patisserie is going in next door!! Make a point to go to Saveurs 209 soon!

“Se Magnifique!”
Reviewed June 4, 2014

I discovered Saveurs 209 on my third trip to San Antonio, TX. I confess to being a bit of a food snob and have had some very disappointing dining experiences in San Antonio on previous trips. Saveurs 209 resurrected my faith in this city's ability to compete on the culinary scene in any city. There was nothing about our meal that was less than exceptional - from the fresh, high quality ingredients, the creative/artistic presentation, the superb wine pairings, to the gracious and very personal service. Pricing was more than fair. To visit San Antonio (or to live there!) without paying one or more visits to Saveurs 209 would be criminal.
