A surprise on the way to the Windcrest golf club, this nice new Thai restaurant caught our eye.
We decided to return for lunch and found a really good Thai food place.
The owner's name is Dwayne and he is an Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam War.
His wife Noy is from Bangkok.
They are very friendly and helpful people.
I had the Penang Curry which is advertised as the hottest in town,
I will have to add some Thai hot chili oil to get there. There are plenty of veggies
like green and red pepper, onions, green beans, mushrooms, and eggplant.
It was fresh and delicious.
I ordered the rice soup. It comes out bland but if you add the Thai hot chili oil
it becomes very robust.
My BW had the Pad Ginger with chicken. This dish had mushrooms, green beans, sprouts, bell peppers, onions, zucchini, and sliced fresh ginger stir-fried in a light brown sauce.
The side salad had iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and carrots.
This is a great little family restaurant with good service, reasonable prices, and friendly
