Mark Bliss, previous owner of Silo, has the most amazing restaurant in the city! The food is an absolutely bliss! The menu is very high quality and quite adventurous. The appetizers we had were amazing: one was a sweetbread and italian beans in a broth, I could have had a whole bowl of this stuff and be completely satisfied! my husband had the spring rolls with a thai chili sauce, he was very pleased as well. We skipped the salad course and went straight to the entrees. I ordered the Maine "perfectly" seared sea scallops, pepperjack-white cheddar grits, sautéed spinach, avocado mousse,and cilantro lime jalapeno beurre blanc. OMG! they were amazing, probably the best scallops i have ever had. My hubby order the Duck breast and Foie Gras with grilled onion & red chard risotto, black pepper orange sauce. the wine list is not very good, but the food makes up for it. maybe next time we will bring our own wine.
