“Excellent Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2013

It could be hard to live up to the hype, but the food here did. Come early; it was packed even on a Tuesday. The food is very inventive without being cutesy. The dishes are a little more generous than standard tapas, but not so big that you can't try several things. Very interesting combinations of flavors, and all expertly executed. Good vegetarian options. For a trendy place, prices were quite reasonable, too. The only bad things are the crowds, if you're waiting, and the complete lack of fabric or sound-absorbing surfaces. It's all hard metal, glass, or plastic, and is extremely noisy.

“Long wait”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 21, 2013

We were there on saturday night. Very cute restaurant.
The food was very good with a simple and short menu.
The problem we had was with the service, although every body was trying to be very friendly, i think they were understaffed. we didnt had a reservation, so we waited at the bar. Found 2 seats and it took 15 min till we got wine list and another 10 till we got our bottle of wine.
The waitress was very friendly, but brought us the check before our last celection from the menu.
I will give it onother try maybe on a night that is not that busy.

“amazing food great portions, atmosphere, and Service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

After spending a few nights on the riverwalk and succumbing to poor service and average food, we were excited for a change of pace off the strip. If you are in San Antonio for at least a few nights this is a must do. It is far superior to anything we encountered on the riverwalk. Itsn only .7 miles from the convention area so you could even walk.

The atmosphere is weird, but cool. Very interesting decor but they pull it off well. The food is amazing, simply put. We had beet salad, duck tostadas, lamb breast, beef lettuce wraps, brussel sprouts, and pork belly. It was a tasting adventure and the portions were huge for a tapas restaurant. I actually left feeling full. After a recent experience at Houston's top tapas style place uchi, I can say this place crushes it in terms of price and portion and quality is equivalent. Definitely Check it out! I'd be back in a heartbeat

“Local place within the tourist trap Riverwalk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2013

Ok. You have to walk a mile but it's worth it! Small plates all with enough for 3-4 people as a taste. We had 6 dishes among 3 people and took some leftovers. We had: duck tostadas, chickpea salad, spicy shrimp with green beans, cauliflower ( awesome MUST order) , lettuce wraps with a tender beef with spices of nutmeg, cinammon or allspice, and corn fritters (best hush puppies you will ever have) on jalapeño cream cheese....oh my, this traveling San Diegian wishes for this restaurant in San Diego. Service was great. Cute lights outside. Wine list interesting but limited. Beer list also varied and interesting. I had a petite petite syrah, good. Another in my party had a vanilla porter (too sweet)
This is my third business's trip to San Antonio and this is the best restaurant! I have gone to all the top recommendations on various websites. Still have to hit La Frite (passed it on the way to Feast) but that's to be reviewed. Hoping for Valentines Day but on the wait list.
Like a good Chinese restaurant the best experience at Feast is one where you have 3-4 or more friends to share the wonderful tastes.

“Unusual and enjoyable”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 31, 2013

We ate here with our son and it was the first tapas restaurant experience for us. We enjoyed the food and the sharing aspect. The menu has a lot of variety and everything we got was tasty. It would be fun to go with a large group.
