We stayed here for a quick visit before kids go back to school. 2 Nights. 5th floor room with a view of the city. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and was big enough for all 5 of us. The parking was expensive, but that is probably the fault of the City of San Antonio and not Marriott. Breakfast was a Circus, altoough the quality was ok for a mid-range hotel. You'd think some people haven't eaten in days. It wasn't good enough to fight over, so the second morning we found an IHOP.
Location is great if you want to do the Alamo and Mall. Price is good for a San Antonio Hotel..they always seemed over priced. Downtown seemed extra-dirty this time. What's up an Antonio? Ever heard of "power washing"?! I'd stay here again, if I have kids in tow. But for adult only stay, there are places with better amenities.
