I have been on other golf courses that seem to hold their nose up to visitors, but Palmer was a joy. It has that Texas charm that makes you feel welcome. The course is just fantastic and some very unique holes. There are actually two courses and I had a chance to play both. The course can be challenging but is very playable. I was there only a week after a tournament so the greens were extremely fast, which inflated my score (that is my story and I am sticking to it). After playng, stopped at the restaurant to eat. It is very reasonable and great food. I did not stay at the Westin, but the place is very well kept. Everything about this place was really well done.
If your a golf enthusiast, you have to play here. If you are a duffer, you will enjoy this course a lot just for the beauty.
