Description: Texas de Brazil is carving out a whole new experience in fine dining. The restaurant is an authentic Brazilian-American "Churrascaria" or steakhouse that combines the cuisines of Southern Brazil with the generous spirit of Texas.Treat yourself to our 50-60 item seasonal salad area including appetizers, gourmet vegetables, soups, and salads. Turn your place card to green and prepare to be swarmed by a troop of carvers generously serving various cuts of seasoned beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage, all accompanied by traditional side items and house-baked Brazilian cheese bread. As you dine endlessly on Brazilian fare, let one of our in-house wine connoisseurs select the perfect pairing from our extensive, award-winning wine lists, or sip on a freshly-made signature cocktail-the Caipirinha. Complete your dining experience with one of our many decadent dessert selections, and then relax with an after-dinner drink, steaming espresso and enjoy the ambiance and service perfection that is uniquely Texas de Brazil.

“Fabulous food, great ambiance and decor, service so-so”

We love this restaurant and we have been many times in other cities. I would have to say that this location is by the far the nicest in terms of decor and quality of food (comparing to Aruba and Dallas), but the service was somewhat lacking. Even though we had a reservation, we waited an hour. When we sat down, no one greeted us for 20 minutes, and still then, we never got the proper introduction or service. Food was delicious though and came out way too fast to eat everything, in minutes, we had plates filled with meat! The salad bar was amazing and the acrobat was the highlight of the dinner for all! For 6 of us who didn't have any drinks and whose party included 3 children under 12, the bill was $350, so its definitely not easy on the budget. In any case, we will definitely return and consider this one of our favorite restaurants!

“Best place we ate in San Antonio”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 12, 2012

It was worth every penny we paid for this meal! I would go back every time. The kids loved it, we loved it. The trapeze wine lady was so fun to watch. The service was excellent, the food was so good, I didn't want to leave. Overall a wonderful experience for all of us. It is quite pricey but every resteraunt in San Antonio is pricey but not worth the price. I would rather pay more and have a meal that was worth every penny! You will not be disappointed!

“Go if you love meat and have deep pockets!”

This is an interesting experience. The brazilian steakhouse concept is fun, but it is VERY EXPENSIVE! For two people, our bill was over $150. We were pleased with the food and the surroundings, but not worth the price. The desserts are stock desserts and we could tell they were frozen and then unthawed. Not made in house. You will definitely get your fill of food, but at a huge cost.

“Carnivores delight. Salad lovers dream.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 2, 2012

What a wonderful find. This was recommended by our front desk staff at the Drury Plaza Hotel. There were four of us for dinner. Two in the party were from Texas and had sampled the food in this chain before and raved of the food. My wife and I are from New York City and had not experienced this before but were eager to go. I am not a big meat eater and passed on all the great offerings that the roving waiters offered. The Salad Bar was the nicest I have ever scene and I enjoyed the choice of no meat. In both the salad and meat department we all consumed a bit more than we needed but enjoyed every mouthful. The wine list was superb and the desert choices decadent and tasty. Add to this mix our friendly waiter Antonio, fresh flower displays, wonderful architecture and now I am a huge fan of this great chain. Based on this experience I will travel outside of Manhattan to visit their on New York branch in Yonkers. This was on of my all time top 10 restaurant visits by a jaded New Yorker.
