“Great place long wait for food”
Reviewed February 17, 2013 via mobile

Great place. People were very friendly. Everything was perfect with the exception if how long the food took to get to us. The manager came out and apologized and gave us 5 desserts on the house. That was more than enough. I will be going back

“Very good but not such a great value and expected more at this price point....”
Reviewed January 2, 2013 via mobile

Living in texas I've come to know what a really good steakhouse can deliver. In the 45 plus dollar range per entree, you should have an unforgettable steak. It's just not the case here, the meat quality was very good but the steak wasn't cooked evenly and really was not all that flavorful. Don't get me wrong, it was good but not 45 dollars good. In Austin, for example, you'll get a far superior steak at many places like cool river or one of the various downtown steakhouses.

The Mac and cheese also lacked flavor. One again, good quality just not an overall tasty dish, more of something you'd expect in a 25 dollar entree range.

It's good, but not worth the price. We are the restaurant in the main hotel the other night and were more pleased with that dinner and it was significantly cheaper.

“Sunday Brunch Buffet”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

$45 per person for adults for Sunday Brunch buffet was worth it. We recommend making reservations to guarantee your spot. There's a band playing music and singing throughout the brunch. I think the menu changes every Sunday but we started off with the cold raw bar that included, cheeses, sliced meats, oysters, jumbo chilled shrimp, and salmon on mini pancakes were a hit with my husband and I! They also offer fruit, cold bean salad, another salad option and crab claws. Then on the main entrees they had mac and cheese, pork loin with a raspberry glaze (amazing), creamy corn casserole, broccoli, sausage, bacon, potatoes, crab with mashed potatoes(yummy), quiche lorraine, and a carving station. On the carving station it includes prime rib, au ju on the side and another meat item we didn't get to try. Theres also a bread station with assorted muffins, pastries, breakfast breads and jams. If you can make it to dessert then they have an assortment of mini items with great flavors. There was fudge, cheesecake, gingerbread cupcakes, blue berry strudel and much more. In addition the brunch also comes with unlimited mimosas and another menu on your table which is "made by the order" of omelets, waffles etc. Overall experience was great flavors and variety and is a must if you are staying at the hotel. They also give you a box of donut holes when you leave; as if you had any more room to take that in but you leave with an excellent experience and the "WOW factor.

“Delicious breakfast”
Reviewed November 21, 2012 via mobile

We eat breakfast here every morning during our stay at the JW Marriott. The service is excellent and the food fantastic. Our favorite is the French toast. It is covered in cinnamon sugar and I promise you will crave it again after you leave!
