“Nice surprise”
Reviewed February 3, 2013 via mobile

Four of us went to eat at this restaurant for lunch after visiting the art museum. The restaurant is small and cozy. If you sit outside, you over look the river walk and this is very nice on a beautiful San Antonio day. We had the goat cheese as an appetizer. It was perfect. It was served with a cup of black and green olives. The only complaint is that it was only served with four small baguette chips. I had the crepe vegetable ratatouille. It was very good, filled with assorted veggies and cheese. It comes with potato salad and greens. The amount of potato salad was less than expected. One person in the group got the quiche. It was good, but initially they served it cold while the other person in our group got it served hot. It was promptly reheated. The service was slow when it came to refills. The prices were a little more expensive than what you expect for lunch, but it is expected for a museum cafe. Our total bill for one appetizer, four meals and two desserts was $75. Each dish is about $10-16.
Pros: great location, variety of dishes
Cons: slow service, pricy

“Balcony on the Museum Reach of the Riverwalk”
Reviewed December 27, 2012

We enjoyed a leisurely lunch on the balcony of the museum cafe. The food was good, and it was fun to watch activity on the riverwalk. The property across the river has an interesting story, which the servers can tell you.

“Could do better”
Reviewed December 4, 2012 via mobile

My wine glass was smeared in someone else's lipstick, the coffee pot lid was not closed properly and so coffee ended up everywhere. The food was probably ok but I was too stressed out by the drink fiascos to care. A little bit more attention to details here would go a long long way.

This is one of the best kept secrets in San Antonio. Dine outside and watch the quiet side of the beautiful river. This is a must The food is very healthy and great proportions. I will soon becoming a regular.

“Overlooks the Riverwalk, artistic food that is also good.”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

Slightly expensive for the style and ambiance, but the view makes up for that. I had a Quiche the last time I was there and it was very good.
