The location was fine as we are aiming to spend time at Sea World. The room was clean, great and very good. Wifi connection speed was excellent. The only problem and it was a major one was when they indicated they were out of various breakfast options. This is unacceptable and indicates poor planning on supplies from management's part. They knew it would get full on a weekend and they did not plan for that! I am amazed since this is suppose to be Marriott. They also were out towels when I asked at the front door. What's up folks! I won't be coming back here again.

The room is spacious, and the 2 bathrooms was very convenient. It is really close to SeaWorld, and there is a restaurant nearby, like really close restaurant which was really nice and food was great. breakfast was okay, and the waffle line was long so i suggest going there really early or almost late. that is the time when people leave for the day.

The downside was a very small parking area. We had to go around the parking area for 10mins until we found someone that was leaving. That is also the reason why we decided to eat at the nearby restaurant because we were afraid that there would be no parking spot for us.
Also, there are not enough blankets, pillows, and towels. We asked for an extra blanket at about 8pm and they had none.

The staff was nice and friendly but I don't think we would stay again because of the parking area being too small. It was frustrating going round and round looking for a place to park specially after a long day.

We have stayed here 2 times now and it was our last. I can accept some inconsistencies with being understaffed and not having sheets in the room for the sleeper (and multiple stains on the carpet and sofa). But then to be told a shorter wait time for sheets and blanket then still not ready with 3 trips down to the front desk where you look into a camera for 1-3 minutes before someone comes out of a locked door to help you is something I expect better from a Marriott. The breakfast is lacking quality, but just OK as these things go. Again, no staff to just check on things and watch when coffee and creamer runs out, etc. Our second trip was about the same. No sheets/blanket for sleeper, and waiting at the camera for someone to come out. We had discussed as a family that we would not stay her again before we left. But here is where it gets worse. We forgot to pack my daughters Kindle Fire charger. My wife called that evening to ask if it had been turned in. The ONE staff at the property says call back in the morning when more staff at available. We called back to ask about them just calling us in the morning after they had looked. We were denied that as an option but told a note would be left for the morning staff. Not happy with that follow-thru, we asked about someone just checking the room as it had not yet been re-rented for the night. Again denied as only ONE staff was on property. So I called the next morning and the morning staff says call back after 10am when the housekeeping staff gets in, or even better yet, call after 12pm when the day manager can deal with this. I asked if I could be called back when someone found something as it was my 3rd call to the hotel about this issue. Frustrated that nothing good would come from this,I called Marriott corporate to inquire about these practices and was dumbfounded at their lack of concern. This property is owned and operated by Baywood and somehow partners with Marriott and uses their brand name and rewards programs. So Marriott did not really show concern with my lack of quality service issues. Compared to Hyatt and Hilton, as we usually use, I have to express disappointment with Marriott corporate and especially this hotel and management group.

Great location for Sea World. Turn right on access road as you leave and you will see a small sign pointing to the exit for Sea World. Hop on 151 and it will take you 10+ minutes to get there. Clean and quiet location and good breakfast in the morning. The line for waffles was long with so many kids staying there so this may be the time that you tell your kids ahead of time they are having cereal for breakfast. They were out of skim milk but I asked and they brought me some. We would stay here again if in the area.

Room Tip: Go early for breakfast to avoid the Sea World rush

While continuing our road trip we stayed at this hotel..the hotel was spotless clean..the service was comparable to any 4 star hotel..the breakfast was hearty and it changed on a daily basis...they even had a waffle maker that made the state of Texas..if I have to visit San Antonio, I would stay here again...

Room Tip: Try to get the high floors close to the exit..this is very quiet. They have the Air Force graduates...

This hotel is super close to the base (maybe 10 minutes depending on lights) and great for the money. The staff was very friendly and familiar with having military families in every weekend for graduation. When they found out that we were there for graduation they checked to make sure we had the BMT grad rate. Turned out that I had found a better rate online, but it was really nice that they checked without question. The hotel was clean and well kept during our stay. The room was a little odd with sliding doors for the two bathrooms, but it wasn't a huge deal. They serve a continental breakfast every morning; they start this earlier on Thursday and Friday due to the ceremonies, but we left for base before 6 am on Thursday so we couldn't take advantage of it that day. This hotel is also right next to a great restaurant (54 Street) - walking there was great. Another bonus - if you turn right out of the hotel parking lot and make a left at the next intersection you will find yourself at a huge shopping center that includes a Target, Panera, and other stores and restaurants.
