I was at a four day conference and it was the best all around experience I have had at a large resort. The rooms are we'll appointed and comfortable. The bed was fantastic with the pillows and comforters. The separate glass corner shower was luxurious and the bathroom very spacious. The food was outstanding. I wish I could take home jars of the salsa from High Velocity. The pool was nice and relaxing although the poolside service was very slow. Overall it was a very relaxing, enjoyable stay. I did not try the spa but did enjoy the fitness center. My only recommendation is they get smaller diameter free weights since they were very cumbersome.

Really enjoy this place! Its a great quick getaway for the family when you want to relax or just sit by the pool. The pool and water slide area is fantastic along with the lazy river and they have nice activities such as the evening smores that you make over the fire pit. Be sure you get an activity guide during your stay. Its quiet and away from everything so all you see from the balcony is resort property and hills.

I will add to be careful with your billing and any items that you are supposed to receive if you purchase a package. I had to ask to receive my room upgrade as the person at the front desk said she was not familiar with the different code packages. Also, we had free breakfast every morning of our stay but we were charged for it on our final bill even though the restaurant knew it was included. Had to make a phone call to customer service to take care of it.

We stayed the first week in August. Hotel is beautiful. We went specifically for the golf and pool area. We rented a cabana, which is a little overpriced, but we enjoyed it. We checked in early and our room wasn't ready. They graciously upgraded the room so that we could get our much needed vacation started. Staff was friendly, much better than when they first opened. In service has improved tremendously. We enjoyed our time there.

Booked a one night stay for me and my kids (had another family join us too - seperate rooms) as a mini-getaway before the end of summer. The property is really lovely - lots to see and do. We especially enjoyed the free smores in the evening and the pool complex. I especially appreciated that the pool complex was not HUGE and everything was laid out very well so our kids could wander on their own and we could just relax. The pool area is sectioned off very well and they always had lots of chairs and towels available.

Highlights: property offers lots to see, very naturally landscaped and there are several kids activities to chose from (some come at a cost). There's a really large gift shop where you can find anything you might need - of course, it's a tad pricey as are majority of resort shops.

I did expect better rooms for the price but as is typical at resorts like this, you're paying for the experience and not the accomodations. At JW, you're paying for their great pool complex, nicely decorated public areas and the service. The rooms are just nice - nothing special. Electronics are all modern. Bathrooms are large and offer shower and bath tub which is nice - especially if you have a large group all waiting to bathe.

There are several food options at JW but they're all pricey. We ate at the pool restaurant and 3 ordered off of the kids menu and 3 off of the adults - totaled more than $80 after tip. But again, you're paying for convenience and not quality. We could have driven 3 miles off-site and had a ton more options for 1/2 the cost and would have tasted better also.

Overall, this was a great place - lots of fun and very relaxing!

Room Tip: Hallways are super long with lots of rooms. Ask for something close to the elevators or at least closer to the lobby elevators. We had to walk 55 doors from the elevator to our room. It was ridiculous.

From the time we arrived until we left, the staff treated us like royalty!!! This place is awesome and worth the price. The pool area has a pool for everyone in your family from the toddler pool to the adult only pool and the Lazy River. Great Place!!! Have been there many times and will continue to go there!!
Also the brunch on Sundays at 18 Oaks is a must!! They had a Jazz band there, with a guy that sounded just like Michael Buble.

Room Tip: Ask for the pool view rooms, they are awesome!!
