A relatively new, contemporary Holiday Inn property. The new design is akin to an upscaled Ikea showroom. The lobby is stark and not very inviting. The materials and finishes are utilitarian and inexpensive. The exterior of the hotel is interesting and has references to local architectural forms. The use of water collection systems and the low-water landscaping are commendable. The rooms are average but relatively comfortable. The restaurant is unimpressive and the wait staff extremely slow. The breakfast buffet is adequate but accessing the buffet is difficult and and the variety of foods is limited. Parking is the biggest issue at this property. If you arrive late you can expect to park in a dirt lot - just hope that it has not been raining. Because of the proximity to Sea world there is always a large group of kids running around everywhere -lobby, restaurants, elevators, etc.

Room Tip: If you want a quiet room then pick a room away from a big family with kids.

We stayed here for two nights. I was surprised to find out that this (corporate) entity automatically charges your card(credit or debit) $25 against any incidentals as opposed to 'holding' a copy of the card for that purpose. They will credit your card back after checkout; making them more like a bank! Though I've been told that all chains do this, my husband and I have traveled all over the world...and it is NOT done everywhere! Clearly, it must be the calibre- 2 1/2 star at the most. The service at the reception desk was slow and apathetic, as was most of the service at the restaurant. Food was fair.

I booked this hotel through Priceline for $94/night we stayed two nights. First off, there's lots of free stuff here. Free parking, free shuttle to and from Seaworld, kids eat free at the attached restaurant, and there's free wifi for the entire hotel.
There is a gym that is not great but they have a treadmill and a bench with some dumbbells and a weight machine. There are two separate pools an outdoor which is not heated and an indoor. There is also a small kids shallow pool outside as well as a hot tub outside.
We had a minifridge and a microwave in our room as well as a bathtub not just a shower like many hotels. The room was very clean and front desk service was ok. The restaurant service was, however, hit and miss. We were always seated promptly but on two occasions we waited longer than 20 mins for our food. The breakfast buffet was really good with tons of options. Bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juices, oatmeal, really most everything this Oklahoma boy could want save some grits.
Shuttle service was excellent. The driver even gave me his cell number so we could call him when we were done at the park.
This hotel really made our stay for Seaworld great. Will definitely be back.

Looks like a great hotel and definitely has potential to be one with better management ! Housekeeping on 2nd floor should be fired. Dirtiest hotel we stayed at in 7 day vacation . Dirty towels, dirty floor, broken drain, mildew in shower , dirty cup and sock was past up by housekeeping entire stay in front of our door from previous guest. I told them I had dirty towels and they actually made me bring them to the front desk to prove it. Every time I had to complain about something there was always another guest doing the same at the front desk. The hotel resturant was terrible! Bad food and service ... Plus expensive ! Would NEVER STAY AGAIN!!!!

We reserved a queen suite 2 months ago to take the fam to Sea World. We arrived to check in at 4PM and were told the room was not clean yet. The guy at the front desk was not at all apologetic about the inconvenience, and with two impatient little kids in tow, it was difficult to be understanding. He gave us some bar vouchers after waiting nearly 30 minutes in the lobby for an update on our room. Bar vouchers, great...how about a babysitter to go with that so I can actually use them...

The queen suite was nice when we finally got into it, the AC works great and the place appeared clean. But you need to ask for extra towels if you are more than 2 people. Only two towels in the room, as other reviews have stated.

Get your cleaning crew some help, and maybe give the front desk guy a helper and you can get a higher rating Holiday Inn.
