“Well preserved and maintained!”

We toured this mission and it was excellent. The grounds are well maintained and there are friendly staff. There were very few people on the site so it was quiet and peaceful.Lots of free parking available.

“Well worth seeing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 22, 2014 via mobile

This is another mission that was well worth seeing. Along the trail there several missions and they were all great with the exception of the Alamo. Seems that all the missions with the exception of the Alamo have been preserved and are still beautiful and well-maintained

“Most beautiful and peaceful of the missions”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 17, 2014

I really like this mission for its dignified quiet and serenity. Came here late in the day just before closing time (NPS opens and closes it) and loved just being on the grounds and looking inside the mission church. Lovely to see and peaceful for reflection inside.

Great place to stand-back and take it all in! It's small, but filled with lots of history. Don't miss this experience.

“Well worth a look.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

My family and I spent the better part of the day at the Alamo and then decidided to do the side trip to Mission Concepcion. What a wonderful way to look back into time. This is the first mission on the Mission trail and was about a 20-30 minute drive from the Alamo. Compared to the Alamo the crowds were non existent. In fact I cant recall seeing anybody else there. Inside the altar was covered in candles and prayer cards giving it a very quaint and peaceful feel. Really an excellent complement to the Alamo.
