My favorite of the San Antonio Missions since the building is intact and is not a reconstruction. Beautiful inside as well.

The grounds are so wonderful! They have signs up to guide you so when we went later in the evening, we could do the self guided tour! It it great!

“Be sure to take tour with a park ranger”
Reviewed May 29, 2013

we learned a lot from the park ranger who provided free tours of the mission, there are also good displays that tell about life in the mission and how native Americans interacted with the Spanish priests

“Authentic painings”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

This is the largest of the mission churches. The original paintings seen in some of the rooms are unique to this site and help the viewer imagine the vivid colors that were once in the other mission churches.

“The best of the Mission Trail”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

Concepcion is by far the most beautiful of the missions. If you only have time, visit this one. It's the closest to downtown, I believe it's on the bus/trolley tours, and it's a gem.
