“Beautiful”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

Entered the cathedral and admired the woodwork and other beautiful fixtures. A gentleman near, a parolee who was touched by God, was giving his spiritual awakening. It was so nice to hear him speak. Truly a blessed sanctuary with a presence of holiness. Hopefully visitors will remember to remove their hats in respect.

“Memorable Wedding”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

I was here for my cousin's wedding and I can say that booking this historic church was worth making her ceremony special and memorable. The cathedral provided a gorgeous and historic backdrop for her occasion and it made the rite of marriage seem more spiritual and meaningful. This was just so beautiful.

“San Antonio's Catedral”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

This is a fine religious building, although it is much more modern than the city itself, since it is only from the late 19th century. If you prefer historical buildings you should head to Missions NHP (check my review), but this one is very close to the river walk and well worth a peak.

This cathedral is astonishing with all the gold leaf inside, but I think you need a guide to truly understand what you are seeing. Located withing walking distance of the Drury Hotel.

“Beautiful Church”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

San Fernando Cathedral is a beautiful, restored church. Artwork, history, gift shop, nice place to rest and pray if you are so inclined. Safe neighborhood. Worth the time!
