It's a neat place to check out if you're in town. It should be one of those places you plan to visit!

“Texas Cultures”
Reviewed April 23, 2013

This museum was fantastic. Lots and lots of interesting facts about Texas and the people. A lot of these museums and places of interest do close at 5 pm, so plan accordingly.

“Great Place, always something new!”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

Since I was a child, I have found myself returning to this place. Every time I do, I find something new and interesting that I had missed or not really cared about previously. They are a worthy cultural museum and do a great job of telling the story of Texas settlement in the eyes of each respective culture. In addition, they have engaging traveling exhibits- the immigration one is currently my favorite. If you have the slightest interest in Texas history beyond Long Horns and Cowboys, this is the place to be!

“Attend the Folk Life Festival yearly.”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

It is great place to visit all year long. The Folk Life Festival was held in August each year but I think it changed to earlier in the year due to weather being too hot.

Who would have thought so many nations were represented in the settlement of Texas. Very interesting and informative.
