“Very organized”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

I went here to see my niece graduate from basic training Master At Arms for the Navy. It was my first time here. They directed me in the right way. The base is very large but easy to get around. It was a wonderful day.

“Beautiful Base!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

Went to Lackland for my Daughter's graduation from BMT. This base is absolutely beautiful. Loved the planes they have all over the grounds. Everyone is so nice there, military and civilian personnel alike! Thank you for a wonderful visit!

“It Starts Here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2013

This is the basic training site for all the Air Force. For those that served in the USAF and went through training several years ago, you will not recognize the base and all the facility improvements. The graduation ceremony, at the end of basic training, is a must see. Also, make sure that you tour the aircraft display at the parade grounds. For retirees, the exchange and commissary upgrades will surprise you. The Security Forces (Security Police) Museum is also worth the time to tour.

“Typical Military Post”

You have to have military ID to enter, but the signs show you where to go, and the BX is really nice.
