This is a GREAT show to go see before visiting the actual ALAMO!!! It'll give you a lot of insight to the history of the Mission. And best of all it's right down the road. Love the IMAX theatre!

A busy experience and costly. Arrived early but then scores of people on a tour arrived many with walkers. Took some time to get all into the theatre as access was on another level. By the time I arrived all walkers were in wheelchair spaces so I was without a space.

A must see as it helped us and our children really understand and envision what happened at the Alamo. When walking through the buildings and the grounds you can better envision the actual events and it makes the visit much more interesting. The best part is you can park your car at the IMAX theatre parking lot and get it validated and have enough time to see the Alamo across the street.

We took boys to this movie so they would know what the Alamo was about. They don’t teach that in school I don’t guess. Anyway is was pricey for a 45 min movie but worth it so my boys would learn something!

We had a great time. We saw Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom on the IMAX screen and in 3d. We all had a blast. Facilities were very clean and service very friendly, snack counter in and out!

Seeing one of the most important stories in Texas history on a screen this huge with a sound system that powerful is a surreal experience! The lobby of the theater is well-decorated with Alamo-influenced artifacts! Now the price for admission into the show is a little higher than a normal movie, but if you truly love the history of the state of Texas, then it is definitely worth it. There are also multiple IMAX screens to show different movies, but to me, "Alamo - The Price of Freedom" is the only one worth viewing!

Located in the Shops at Rivercenter near the Alamo. See the IMAX film depicting the history of the battle before visiting the Alamo itself. You'll have a better appreciation and understanding of the fort's history and what transpired there.

Small displays of artifacts from the time of the battle are located in the lobby.

It was raining in San Antonio, so it gave us something to do inside. I was not impressed with the acting. A couple of interesting facts that I had overlooked, but don’t expect any wow factor.

This was an excellent 45 minute movie about the battle at the Alamo and what led up to it when a few thousand Mexicans wiped out a couple hundred Texans. You experience what if must have been like for those brave Texans who knew they were so outnumbered. Seeing the Alamo means so much more when you see this little movie. Guided tours of the Alamo give some history lessons but you really need to see this movie.

As a Canadian, I didn't know a lot about the Alamo or what had happened there other than often hearing the phrase "Remember the Alamo." After watching the movie, I had a much better understanding and appreciation.

The theatre itself was very comfortable and convenient as it's located right next door to the Alamo. The staff at the theatre were incredibly helpful. We arrived about 5 minutes before the movie was to start so one of the attendants took our money and said she would bring our change to us in the theatre. Very convenient for us...thank you!

The day we went to see the movie, the theatre was filled with school age children and we were impressed that throughout the entire movie, no one spoke out or chatted. We were impressed with how respectful all the children were.

It was a very positive experience. So glad we went to the movie.
