“The Standard "Greasy Spoon" Place”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

What can I say? It is the standard Greasy Spoon place. The usual Lard type fries and ordinary burger. The food is thrown together behind a semi- factory outlet grill. Grease soaked paper wraps and that grease smell. It's a Cholesterol palace even if the oils are vegetable or whatever. The staff attitude is t "Who cares" i have a job and here's your food so eat it. It's another place people eat at that don't know where the real good burgers are at in San Antonio. The place does survive I guess because it's in a mall complex. The other reason I guess is that people will eat almost anything that is fast and nearby.

Reviewed December 11, 2012

this was just an average burger for me. Menu was very basic which is fine with me but the food was also basic.

“Tasty Cheeseburgers, But Those Fries”
Reviewed November 4, 2012

We tried Five Guys in several locations around the country.
Our favorite location is in the Quarry Market. The cheeseburgers
are nice and fresh and messy. They are smaller than those at Big Z's, and more expensive.
The french fries are outstanding and gill plenty.
Five Guys is our pick in the Alamo Heights neighborhood.

“Great Food”
Reviewed August 10, 2012

Food was great. We were in line for a while and it took a while to get our food but the food was worth the wait. Do not even come in the door if you have a peanut allergy because there are nuts everywhere. The price of the food is higher than a typical burger joint- but the quality is very high- so in my opinion it is worth it. They got our order correct and the tables were clean. I would definitely eat here again.
