When eating at expensive restaurants on the riverwalk gets you down head to the HEB at 646 S Flores for fresh fruit, veggies, cheese, crackers, and hummus. Find a table in the "hall bridge" area over the riverwalk. Enjoy the air-conditioning and people watching while saving a few dollars on meals.

A top notch facility. My only issue was that It was hard to leave the large convention floor. Everyone it seemed had to funnel through too few doors

I have attended graduations, conventions, award ceremonies and trade shows here. Nice to visit just to see the hallways and the historic statues of Texas history.

First time I attended a convention in this recently expanded facility. As it is so centrally located, it was a wise decision to bring this facility up to modern standards. The building is beautiful with many areas available so you can have multiple functions going on without running into each other. Hotels are located on all parameters and close enough so you can walk easily without worrying about your safety. Food choices are available and very tasty. A very positive experience!
