Tasty food, nice atmosphere, good service. Their Jambalaya is excellent! Also, the beignet and the peach cobbler is well worth saving room for!

“They had me at micro-brewery”
Reviewed June 15, 2013

I always enjoy going to BJ's whether it be for lunch or dinner or even a social get together. They are almost always busy so there is usually a short wait but the staff is always friendly. I love to sample the beers that BJ's makes -- check out the descriptions in the menu. The food is always tasty and filling. I must admit that I have become a fan of their pizza's as well.

“Great food.”
Reviewed June 13, 2013

A friend and I ate there for lunch on Sunday a couple of weeks ago. We did not eat at the one on 281, this one was at 1604 and Culebra. Although there were many choices on the extensive menu, I was just in the mood for a burger and fries and a beer. The service was quick and friendly. The burger was excellent and the fries thin and crispy just like I like them. I had one of their specialty beers and it was very tasty as well. All in all a good, pleasant place to have a casual lunch or dinner.

Its nice to see new items at the menu. Food is good for the money and the rewards program they have is good as well. Service is most of the times very good.

“this place just costs too much”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

ok... imagine combining red robin with the cheese cake factory and a microbrewer, and BJ's is what you might get. the menu is big. ugh, but the prices are real steep. I would put the food on par with a TGI Friday's, but interior on par with cheesecake factory. But if i wanted to eat at fridays or cheesecake factory, i would have paid less than half than I did at this place. we are coupon people, and came here because we had a coupon for a free appetizer, but still our ticket was over $140 for a family of 4. there are many many restaurants in the area, and there is no reason why anyone should have to pay what we did for average food. maggianos is solid, and red robin is nearby. best bang for your buck for top quality food in this area would be either at the bass pro shops, or go over to the nearby la cantera mall and eat at Kano Grill or cheesecake factory or even the pf changs.
