We stayed at this La Quinta after spending the day at Six Flags with 3 children. Normally dont do LQ's because of past unsatisfactory history, but this one has reopened our minds to the LQ hotels. It is a fairly new hotel with Very clean rooms which is our two primary characteristics in staying at a hotel. The breakfast was sufficient and well maintained. It was a bit busy when we arrived about 11pm and the following morning but it seems to cater to the Six Flags/Sea World visitors which is understandable. Overall, the hotel was a great value for the area and the competition of the other fairly new hotels in the same area. Would highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for great value, newness, and location near Six Flags/Sea World (within 5-10 mi) of each.
On check in I could see the worn look and the results of a less than energetic cleaning staff. Oh well I was only there one night so I took care of the reason I was there. It was when I turned back the bed much later that I found brownish stains on the blanket and a crusty stain on the bottom sheet. Ugg!! I could go on but it would get boring. On check out one clerk having breakfast and one out smoking! Whomever owns this place should get a handle.SAD.
