“Stunning Old Mission”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

This is an absolutely stunning old mission and a must see when visiting San Antonio. This is a tremendous photo opportunity with many beautiful and repetitious arches. We were here two years ago and they were doing some restoration work on the chapel...everything turned out splendid. The grounds are extremely well kept and this was a "hop off site" on our Alamo Trolley Tour. Bring your camera...this one is good for about 3 hours.

“Interesting”

It is always so interesting to go to a place with such history. They have done a great job with their displays, explaining the history and everyday life of the people it served in the past and well as now.

I enjoyed the tour by the ranger and the stories she told. It is mostly outdoors, so be sure to dress for any anticipated weather!

“Worth the price of the trolley if you don't have a car”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

The park office at the mission has an interesting movie, which makes the experience of seeing the old ruins and the restored church much more interesting. The ruins are like something you would see in Europe, very rare in the United States and very beautiful.

“You can feel the history”
Reviewed January 28, 2014

You have not been to San Antonio and understand the history until you visit the missions. Go to the visitor center, watch the movie, listen to the park rangers, and feel the history.
