I dont think the $50 Dollars I paid for this hotel were worth it. The staff is not bad, One housekeeping lady looks like a ghost. The hotel and rooms smell like a HOSPITAL IN MEXICO. The sheets and pillow cases are stained, They were dead insects inside the light fixtures. The TVs look like they have been bought at the Flea Market. The hotel was Under Construction and was a Safety Hazzard for the customers. The back door was broken, I dont think the parking lot is safe.The safest Car in the parking was the Hotel Owners Mercedes SUV. The worst thing was thet I had to leave the room at midnight we just couldnt STAND THE PLACE.So If you want to spend some quality time with your family you need to stay elsewhere. But if you are just using the room for other purposes. It is OK.

Overall, I got a good value with this hotel. It is not luxurious, but suited my needs perfectly.

It was easy to find from I-10 (look for their prominent sign). It was easily accessible from the highway and was an easy, short drive to both downtown and the airport. There was an abundant number of department stores (Walmart, Target), restaurants (IHOP), fast food (Wendy’s, Quizno’s, A&W, Long John Silver’s, Starbucks), and gas stations within a short drive. DeZavala Road had lots of options, which is where I was doing business and it was a very short drive. I had no issues with their free parking.

The staff was friendly and willing to assist with any of my needs. They did allow me to check-in early. The cleaning ladies were less friendly than the desk staff, but they did a sufficient job cleaning the room. The carpet was a bit old and worn, but otherwise the room was cleaned daily to my standards. The room smelt strongly of disinfectant, which my clothes came home smelling like.

All room entrances were indoors. There was an elevator.

The room itself was not crammed. It did have a refrigerator and microwave, which I requested, so I am not sure if these are standard in all rooms. It also had a TV (functional, although not state of the art), alarm clock, iron and ironing board, blow dryer, coffee pot, and a desk. There was also a recliner, but it was quite old and uncomfortable. I did try to put the footrest up on it and had trouble getting it to return. The AC was plentiful, as was the hot water. The cable channel selections were sufficient. The wireless internet worked well and was easy to access. I would have liked the room lit a bit more bright, but it was sufficient. The towels were a bit old and worn, but again sufficient.

The hotel’s business center that they advertised was a computer in the lobby. There was a small outdoor pool that was often inhabited by children and families. Continental breakfast was served in the lobby. There was a laundry facility, as well as vending machines and video games. I did not use any of these.

The hotel seemed to be occupied by mostly families on vacation (possibly going to Six Flags). There were often children running the halls, room doors slamming, and small room gatherings that I could hear from my room. These weren’t beyond what you might expect at most motels catering towards families.

For me, this was a great value close to where I needed to be. It was not a fancy place to stay, but offered everything that I needed. I would stay here again.

This was the worst motel I have ever stayed at! It was dirty and smelled of old mold. They tried to cover the smell with some type of cleaner but it did not work. There was water behind the glass of the picture above the bed. The room felt wet and stunk. There was even a live roach in the shower the next morning when I went to take a shower.
I must say however, that the staff was very polite.
I would not recommend this place to my enemy. Sorry but save your money and go some place else.

A pleasant surprise for our family. We are a family of 4 (husband, wife, 12 year old girl, 9 year old boy). We visited this hotel during spring break (March 17th) of 2005. We wanted a quick overnight hotel for a trip to Fiesta Texas and had a very good experience here.

It's pretty convenient (on the access road of I-10) just south of Fiesta Texas - 2 exits away. It has interior corridors and nice rooms. They were clean and well kept. The sink is speparate from the toilet/shower (a godsend for my family). Large TV, queen size beds, and even an outside window that will open for fresh air. The front rooms' windows will face the highway, but the back rooms' windows will face a wooded area.
The breakfast was pretty sparce (only toast, some doughnuts, and a juice dispenser), and this would be the only drawback. We paid 59.99 without taxes, but beware that San Antonio has very high hotel taxes.

Pros - very convenient to Fiesta Texas, spacious clean rooms, and separate sink area;
Cons - high taxes and limited breakfast.
