Very nice place a block from the Alamo and Riverwalk mall and the Riverwalk. We found that the room had everything we needed, and the staff all were very friendly. Clen, recently refurbished property. Be aware of the high parking fee, but this is the case at all hotels in the Riverwalk area. This one isn't on the RiverwLk,but it is lose and the cost is reflective.

Room Tip: Probably not any bad rooms, as the street is not a busy one. We overlooked the parking area...no great views from any angle.

I always stay at this hotel when in San Antonio - it has a great combination of a good location (right beside the Alamo and riverwalk), good hotel features (free breakfast/evening snacks), and good room features (great kitchenette, good sized rooms). Would defnintely recommend.

All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and professional, they truly make you feel at home. I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and the stay was very comfortable. The studio suite is very large with a separate corner with kitchenette including a full size fridge and freezer, sink, range, microwave, and coffee maker. Wireless Internet was available at very good speeds. The hotel is located right in the riverwalk area about a block from the alamo. The complimentary morning breakfast was excellent including scrambled eggs, potato pancakes, yogurts, oatmeal, and the typical bread fare, like muffins, bagels etc. Monday-Wednesday evenings there is a managers reception where food and beer/wine are complimentary. Items vary from BBQ sandwiches to spaghetti and meatballs, the menu is posted on the fridge in your room. There is a charge for parking if you park a car ($24/night) in the garage, all of the hotels in this area charge for parking, so this is not out of the ordinary. The fitness center on the second floor has enough equipment to get a good workout in; treadmill, elliptical/bike, free weights. Can’t say enough good things about this hotel, will definitely return if I get the chance.

Room Tip: Try to get rooms away from elevators, as they ding frequently.

I don't often write reviews, but I just had to write one on this hotel. The employees of this hotel are the happiest people in San Antonio! Without exception, every single person we encountered on our three-night stay was smiling and helpful. Tammy, at Reception, started off by answering a pre-checkin question I had on the phone, and then every other person was equally helpful and friendly --- even the guys who parked cars were terrific.

The reason we stayed here was for my husband to attend a meeting at the Marriott Rivercenter. We could have stayed at the hotel where his meeting was, but they would not guarantee us connecting rooms. Since our disabled daughter was accompanying us, we cannot take the chance that connecting rooms are not available at check-in, so we stayed here. The bonus was the kitchen, full refrigerator and living room. It was great!

Room Tip: We were in an upper floor to avoid noise.

I was very surprised when we got here and saw how well the hotel has been redone. The rooms was prefect and NEW. I like this hotel because is a short walk to the River Walk and one block from the Alamo. Great location. We always enjoy walking the River Walk and naturally eating there. They do offer some discounts on the rooms so be sure to ask. The breakfast is always more then I need. Usually eggs, ceral, fresh fruit and much more.
For the price and location I think its a very good deal

Room Tip: If you work for the government or ar military ask for the discount
