Owner description: Built for the 1968 HemisFair in honor of the city's 250th anniversary, this delightful park is a local favorite, particularly the water gardens and the kid-designed wood and sand playground, which includes a castle and space tunnel. The highlight is the looming 750-foot tall Tower of the Americas, offering a terrific view of the city.

I enjoyed my visit to the Hemis Fair park area. The various water falls were really breath taking and worth seeing. The museum of Mexican art was also were visiting.

Between meetings one day we strolled through this historic park. There are interesting things to see and a few cute shops in the area.

This is a city park that is a nice escape from the traffic and busy streets of downtown. It is the former home of the worlds fair and is convenient to everything in the city center.

The park is quite lovely and in the cooler months, would be ideal for a blanket and a book.

Love the view! You have to go at least once in your life. Try going in the afternoon so you can see both day view and night view. Try walking on the outside and feel the wind blow your hair back!
