We had a party of six on a Friday night. Our waiter was wonderful and the food was great. I would definitely recommend the panko-crusted tilapia. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was to die for. My fellow diners had the quail which they said was great, but it had too much barbecue sauce on it. My husband had the angus steak, which turned out to be more like pot roast, but he loved it. They were very crowded but the service was great.

Our food at lunch tasted good and I wish that the service had matched it. To say the waiter was indifferent was an understatement. The service was very slow, we were starving, and after 15 minutes of waiting, we asked another waiter to bring the bread that our waiter had told us would be coming shortly after we ordered drinks. The worst was the attitude...indifferent to surly.
We dropped in for "happy hour" another day, and the bar service was good, but the happy hour food was indifferent and not worth the effort.
Our poor experience was confirmed by locals who confirmedt the feeling that the Grill is not the great place that it used to be.

Reservation at 6:30 for 6 people for my wife's birthday celebration. Seated immediately and then downhill from there. Waiter came over explained the menu and took cocktail order. Came back 15 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order. Said yes and asked about the drinks...bar tender "backed up". Took order, waited and waited and salads arrived...but got order confused and did not bring for everyone that ordered. Asked again about drinks. He came back with the drinks and gave to the wrong people. We did not say anything and just swapped among ourselves. Thirty more minutes and no entrees so asked if he could check on them. Shortly they arrived and given to the wrong people. We swapped them out OK. Three of the entrees were room temperature, all fish and two of the fish entrees undercooked. Finished meal and waited and waited to see waiter again. Ordered desert for the birthday girl. We finished and again never saw the waiter. I finally got up and found him and asked for our bill. About 10 minutes later he presented our bill and immediately walked away. I looked at the bill while walking toward him and asked him to process now so we could leave the restaurant. We did not anticipate a two hour meal with over half of the time waiting. I guess our waiter had tables in other parts of the restaurant to account for not being able to find him. Can't explain order mix ups for the table beside us had the same problem with their appetizers. We have been to this restaurant several months ago and had no problems but our table of six did not get good service or food. Slow service and mediocre service.

We love the Grill for brunch. The entrees and salads are fresh and delicious but our favorite is the omelette station and the unlimited mimosas! Exceptional service, too!

Two of the best crab cakes this side of the Chesapeake Bay: full of sweet crabmeat, light, and seasoned with a delicate touch. My partner's salmon was equally well-prepared. Even the house salad, with its light fresh vinaigrette, was delicious. Comfortable atmosphere, nicely paced dinner. Perhaps a bit pricey, but it was a special dinner on a special occasion
