Owner description: There are two things just about every child in San Antonio has done — visited Brackenridge Park and taken a ride on the Brackenridge Eagle Miniature Train. It'll take you on a scenic tour of the park, so you can rest your feet and enjoy the ride. It is also one of the longest miniature train rides in the world, covering 3.2 miles of track and taking guests to many stops around the park such as the zoo, sunken gardens, and the Witte Museum.

“Awesome little train ride”
Reviewed May 20, 2014 via mobile

We go often because my 4 year old loves trains so he has a blast. The conductors are all very nice, give a little information while you ride and they play it up for the kids as well. The park is nice and you'll see people walking around waving for the kids. A great way to spend 20 minutes. It's just a fun miniature train ride that runs through and around Brackenridge park.. no more no less.

“Great for Small Kids”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

The train takes riders on about a 20 minute ride from the zoo, around Brackenridge park, stops at the Witte and golf course, then drops off again at the zoo. The train can also be used to travel from the zoo, to the Witte, and back again. A good way to spend half an hour in downtown San Antonio.

“For the kid in everybody!”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

During our second visit to San Antonio we found Breckenridge Park...more importantly we found the train! Boy was it fun. We got there at 9am and were greeted by several other families anxious for the ride to begin. The 20 minute ride went by very quickly. We really enjoyed the river crossings and the friendly waves from those we rode by. Of course getting to scream in the long tunnel was fun for the kid in everybody! Can't wait to go back and do it all over again. Keep in mind that you can get off at each of the stops and reboard for free. I recommend getting off at the Japanese Tea Garden to enjoy its beauty.
