We were here in really cold weather and still it was terrific, even though it was so cold they canceled the "cruises."

One could spend days, maybe weeks, enjoying wandering there now, and they are continuing to expand.

The River Walk area is a great place to wander, but the boat cruise down the river was my favorite part of our visit to San Antonio. It lasted an hour, with a guide to narrate--just enough, not babbling endlessly, but giving you good and interesting information.

River walk it’s one of the great places to be, very relaxing, well maintained , super clean, really nice to have a nice long walk along this amazing place, great restaurants, good prices, and a variety of stores enough to have a nice shopping experience.

With To go beers, shops, and decent restaurants along each side, it’s a great way to spend the day. Also, between the two ends of the horseshoe there is a fence with padlocks that you can add on yourself. Wish I knew about it before hand!

On our visit to San Antonio, this was our main way of walking throughout the downtown. It’s obviously well maintained, and there are maps all along the route. We went north from the main square entrance.

The Riverwalk is lovely day and night. The restaurants and shops are all very touristy, so the food (in general) is average at best. However be sure to take a River cruise. It’s inexpensive, informative and fun.

The river walk is very pretty and a grate place to walk. Small sections of it down town are very commercialized and busy at night. The majority of the walk is senic, not crowded, and safe to walk.

The Riverwalk is well maintained. There are no barriers along the walk, so walk carefully. In crowded times, take your time- didn't notice any real shops, just restaurants and bars. Very shady and enjoyable!
