“We Love Seaworld”
Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

My family has had season passes to Seaworld for almost 4 years now. The prices have gone up in the past year with Aquatica being added, but I feel its worth it. The park itself is very clean and well kept. The shows are fun, but we mainly come for the water park durring the summer. For families with small children (under 10) this park is perfect. Durring the holidays like Halloween they have something for all ages. Im not upset paying more for my Sea World pass than my Fiesta Texas pass. Afterall they pay to maintain killer whales, dolphins, penguins and so much more. Also the only month they are closed is January.

“Nice but know a few things first”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

We had a great time BUT at almost $70 for a full price ticket it is expensive! Take a moment and get your tickets online before you go and you'll save enough for parking and treats.

As with all these water shows pay attention to the "splash zone" warnings on the seats, if you sit there you will get wet, some shows (killer whales especially!) will be wetter than others.

The park itself was clean and the shows we saw were well performed and entertaining. We saw the water ski performance, which was a little corny to start but the skiers and powerboat drivers did an excellent job overall. The Azul (not sure of the spelling) show was very entertaining and reminded us of the Cirque du Soleil type shows. The Killer Whale show was something we had all seen before but was still entertaining and amazing. We hit almost all the rides except the water rides due to our new airmen status (they can't get intentionally wet while in dress blues) and all were worth it even with the very short lines.

A huge plus is that SeaWorld supports all active duty service members and their families with free admittance! So if you have a new Lackland AFB Airman like we did on this trip then all you have to worry about for expenses is parking and food.Huge props to Seaworld for supporting our troops!!!

Overall this is an entertaining place and we enjoyed our time.

“Hot but fun”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Been to Sea World several times, but not in the last few years. The new water park was a lot of fun, but you have to go to it really early, otherwise you have to stand in line for hours to get in. Also, the waterpark is no longer included in the Sea World admission, and it would be very disappointing to pay separately for it and then not be able to get in.

The shows are still impressive and enjoyable, but there's nothing you can do about the stiffling heat in San Antonio in the summer. Just go prepared to sweat.

Sea World could really improve their food service - quality, price, and long lines leave much to be desired.

Overall, I would still recommend it.

“Fun times”

Good family fun! Will definitely plan another trip. Best show was Pet's Ahoy. Gift shop prices a little steep but then it's worth the memories

Greetings! from SeaWorld San Antonio. Thank you for your recent visit. Pets Ahoy is a crowd pleaser, we recommend arriving 45 minutes prior to show time to guarantee seating. Our app for the Iphone and Andriod phone provides both show times and ride wait times and is a helpful tool to use in-park. We look forward to a future visit.

“A full day of fun”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

I had been debating whether to take the kids (9 & 11) to SeaWorld. Given their ages, I decided that the window of opportunity was closing and there would be plenty of new things for them to encounter. We arrived at 10:30 on a Thursday morning to no lines and an attendant stating "It's dead today." I had purchased tickets online, but didn't have access to a printer. Customer relations was very helpful, took my order number from my smartphone email, and was able to print everything out for me. I bought tkts for SeaWorld, Aquatica and the Dolphin encounter. Later on, I added the Stingray encounter in Aquatica, which was fun to see the kids freak out when they were swarmed. I would recommend the encounters, as they were able to feed and touch the animals. While it was certainly an expensive day, it was a memorable one - from the shows like Azul and One World to the fun rides. One painful note: my 9-year old daughter strained her neck on The Great White ride. The on-site medic team was very attentive and helpful, which I was so grateful for. Her injury definitely altered our plans for the rest of the day. None of the food choices looked appetizing, but we did chow down at the Sweet Treats bakery. Aquatica was a relatively small park and it felt like an add-on side attraction to the larger main park than a separate waterpark - which may have been the intended goal. All in all, we had a fun, memorable day at SeaWorld.
