Description: Flying Saucer Pizza Company landed in downtown Salem on the historic date of August 3, 2012 - directly next to its sister restaurant Gulu-Gulu Cafe. The mission: to abduct traditional pizza and give it a healthy gourmet spin. Our eclectic pizza menu showcases a variety of fresh and local ingredients. With our designer pizzas inspired by available seasonal ingredients, our menu evolves and changes throughout the year. In addition to our great selection of New York style pizza, we serves great salads, beers, wines, and dessert! Charlie the Space Pug, the Flying Saucer's fearless leader, offers peace (and warm bellies) to all who enter - omnivores, vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-intolerant earthlings alike.

“Vegan pizza option!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2012

My husband and I had heard that this pizza place offered vegan pizza and were dying to try it. We picked up a pizza over the weekend and were really happy with the result! The sauce and seasonings on the pizza really made the vegan daiya cheese taste like real cheese. The only thing I would say is that if you're not a fan of thin crust you might not like this. Towards the ends of the pizza it was really thin to the point where taking one small might resulted in pulling off half the pizza. It didn't bother me too much and the taste made up for it. Overall I really liked it and would definitely go back

“Sci Fi theme and great pizza!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

The FLYING SAUCER PIZZA COMPANY is a Great place! The atmosphere, the decorations, the staff, the PIZZA! All pizzas have 'out of this world' names such as "Face of Boe" and the "Tribble" to name only two. The toppings are fresh, cooked just right, and paired wonderfully! They even offer white, whole wheat, or gluten free crusts! The Flying saucer is clean, has a great vibe, and excellent staff. This is a great location while touring Salem and is in the square behind the Bewitched statue. The 1/4 pie 'single slice' is a great low cost lunch. The plain chees pizza was Very Tasty. If I lived in Salem, Mass., I would be here all the time.
