While traveling on business in Boston, our group decided to spend the evening at Finz. Our waitress Amber was awesome. She pointed us in the right direction on apps, drinks, and food. All were excellent. Highly recommend this place. Getting Amber is a bonus.

Excellent fish choices, imaginatively prepared. I really loved the Canadian Salmon with mustard sauce and bacon-cheese risotta over grilled asparagus. Ice cream tasted homemade. Service was lovely. We had a new server, accompanied by an experienced one who was training her. I think this is a good idea, rather than sending out a newbie on her own.

My business colleague and I enjoyed the view of the marina, the food, and the fact that we were not rushed even on a busy night. Finz is obviously busy even on a Tuesday night, which says a lot about its deserved popularity.

My wife & I stopped in for a drink on the deck at 5PM and ended up staying for 3 hours, sampling drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Everything we had was excellent, including martini's, wine, Yellow Fin Tuna Tatare, seared Yellow Fin Tuna, Mussels in white wine, Buffalo Wings. and Crab Cakes. The highlight might have been the Crab Cakes. Perfectly seasoned and loaded with crab meat. The chocolate chip cookie pie dessert was very good as well.

Our server, Mike, was outstanding. He understood that we were not in a hurry and that it took us a while before we were hungry enough to order food. He paced out everything perfectly and never rushed us. If a particular item was taking a while to arrive, he would stop by and update us on it's progress. Charming and conversational guy, very knowledgeable of the food and drink menu. We will return and we will request server Mike.

Nice looking restaurant in a lovely location. Read good reviews about food and service so stopped in for lunch while touring Salem on a weekday with my 2 tweens and sister from out of town. I must have had the same server as other recent reviewers. I'm getting irked again just thinking about the poor experience (a series of issues) -- let's just say: Lackadaisical server and Lackadaisical manager! Not going back - ever!

We were a party of 4 for lunch and the restaurant was not at all populated. With that said the waiter had to be asked at least 3 times for water and perhaps 4 times for bread. ADHD?
The menu is abundant with many fish dishes and there are some interesting fresh catches every day. The buffalo calamari and the seafood tacos had some distinctive zip and the halibut and trout were fresh if not particularly inspired offerings. The wine list is compact but fairly diversified with many reasonably priced options.
If you like seafood and you are in the area its a place that will fit the bill. I wouldn't go out of my way for it.
