Met a few friends here for Sunday Blues Brunch with music by Barrence Whitfield - loved it.

They call the restaurant a Mediterranean Kitchen & Wine Bar. The brunch features items such as Mascarpone Stuffed French Toast and Goat Cheese & Cippolini Omelet as tasty as they sound. The wine list is extensive offering reds and whites from Spain, Greece, Italy, France and the US.

The Grapevine also runs a “Hear it Though The Grapevine” Acoustic Music Series on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6 – 9, featuring Folk, Blues, or Jazz Musicians. A schedule is available on their website.

If your looking for a memorable night with great food and wine, try the Grapevine, you can even book a table up to a month in advance, online through OpenTable.

We got a Groupon deal so we tried this restaurant. It was excellent.
They have free parking adjacent. Service was excellent. Cocktails done just right. Adequate "by the glass" wine list. (Very good if you want a bottle.)
Good menu selection and specials. No problem splitting a salad or dessert.
Make a reservation. They were full by 7pm.

For decades, Grapevine delivered a satisfying dining experience. I'd guess my wife and I ate there perhaps 50 times over the years. Now we've been twice under the new management, but we won't go again. One problem is the new menu; it's now very hard to find a healthy choice. If you exclude all the dishes with meat or heavy cheese, as I do, there's little to choose from. Another problem is the service; last night we had to wait far too long to order wine. And it wasn't busy! Granted, the new wine list is extensive, so if you want to focus on glasses of wine and an appetizer at the bar, that could be fun. But for fine dining, there are too many better choices in town now. Adieu.

I was concerned about the ownership change but the reviews I read were reassuring. Perhaps we ordered the wrong thing on the wrong night but we were disappointed with our meal. While the place is still busy amd comfortable and the servers friendly and efficient, my wife and I both felt the food tonight was mediocre. The cod was rather fishy and the artichoke tomato manchego salad was disappointing with pale tasteless tomatoes and, as impossible as it seems, even the Manchego lacked flavor.

We have been going to the Grapevine for years and were saddened whaen the former owners left.. After several dinners and wonderful cocktails, we are pleased to recommend this restaurant highly. An interesting menu. The appetizerof gound lamb in phylo was delicious and scallops succulent. We always eat at the lovely bar and each time have found the owner there, gracious and greeting. The wine list is much improved with new owners.
Love the addition of jazz brunch with the likes of the great Barence Whitfield. Heard it was wonderful and cannot wait to go.
